Hello — I'm Brigham Powelson.

I study political authority, institutional decision-making, and the narratives that shape public action.

My work sits at the intersection of political philosophy, intelligence analysis, and rhetoric. My senior thesis examines Socrates as a model of statesmanship within a tradition of civic virtue and moral responsibility. Across my projects, I analyze how individuals and institutions reason under uncertainty, how language structures belief, and how ethical commitments shape governance. I am currently preparing for graduate study in security and intelligence.
